Current reigning Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst will release her biography ‘Being Conchita – We Are Unstoppable’ on May 11th.
The book contains an opening chapter from legendary fashion designer and former French commentator Jean Paul Gaultier whom Conchita was a muse for.
The book tells the story of how Tom Neuwirth went from a kid growing up in the town Bad Mitterndorf to an international drag superstar, discussing the contrasts of Conchita’s life; the private person and the public character, the masculine and feminine and ultimately the ‘different’ and the ‘normal’.
Since winning Eurovision Conchita has become an icon for tolerance and unity and ‘Being Conchita’ is her chance to tell the story from her side.
