In the midst of a busy evening of national selections around Europe, Russia has confirmed that Junior Eurovision 2006 winners, The Tolmachevy Twins, have been internally selected to represent them in Denmark.
After months of speculation, and the cancellation of a planned national selection, it became clear in recent weeks that Russia would go down the route of selecting their artist internally.
This won’t be the twins’ first appearance on the Eurovision stage however, as they performed in the opening act of Semi-Final #1 in Moscow 2009.
