In a marathon national final, Germany has selected Elaiza and their songย Is It Right? to represent them in Copenhagen. The girl trio entered the selection after the wildcard round.
Elaiza managed to beat runaway favourites Unheilig in the superfinal by a small margin. The girls already surprised the audience by qualifying for the second round, together with MarieMarie, Santiano and of course, Unheilig.

Elaiza entered the competition after the wildcard round in Hamburg a few weeks ago. The band was founded only a ย year ago. When we spoke to them earlier this week, lead singer Ela told us they didn’t believe that they could win the show and that being part of the show was already a jackpot. They were proven wrong tonight: they convinced Germany and will now try to convince Europe.
