Not to be dramatic or anything but I’ll cry if this doesn’t win. Although this has been a good week of releases, there is a LOT riding on this winning Melodifestivalen. If this win, we have a very real chance of seeing Sweden secure a 7th win. I understand why people may not ‘get’ this, but what is more important is that those who get it, REALLY get the rawness, the emotion, the longing and the urgency with which Cornelia performs. I have very little faith in the Swedish public and the international juries to make a good decision, but there is an ember that remains. Don’t screw this up, Sweden.
