Duška Vučinić, the head of press at RTS, to an interview today has announced that the Radio Television of Serbia will broadcast all three live shows of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Due to financial reasons, we were not able to send a representative in Copenhagen this year, but I strongly believe that Serbia will return next year. Our hope is to continue our tradition of participating in Eurovision, and to return our national selection, Beosong, said Vučinić.
Vučinić invited the Serbian diaspora to support Sergej Ćetković (Montenegro) and Tijana Dapčević (FYR Macedonia) as they mostly live and work in Belgrade. RTS withdrew from the 59th Eurovision Song Contest on 22 November 2013. Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be held from 6-10 May in Copenhagen, Denmark.
