According to Irish newspaper The Herald, Irish television presenter Laura Whitmore will join Scott Mills as commentators for the BBC in the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. As is traditional lately, Graham Norton will commentate the final.
Scott Mills will once again be the male half of the commentating duo for the semifinals. Whitmore would be the third co-commentator for him, after previously working with Sara Cox and Scissor Sisters’ lead singer Ana Matronic.. Whitmore said she’d be going to Copenhagen for Eurovision next month to work for BBC Three in an interview with RTÉ Radio 1:
Then I am going to be in Copenhagen and I am doing some bits for BBC Three for the Eurovision so that will be pretty cool.
Laura Whitmore is a 28-year old Irish television presenter. She’s hosted shows for MTV Europe in the past and has worked for Irish and British television as well.
