The runners up of this year’s Eesti Laul have proven that they aren’t just resting on their laurels with the release of their second single ‘God is Good’. We asked Janno from the Super Hot Cosmos Blues Band about the meaning behind the song and he had this to say;
Our new song “God Is Good” tells a story about love, i guess. There´s some twists in it, but let them be mine for now. Just let it take you away to a place YOU wanna be! My own story behind it is not the most important one!
We also asked what the band have been upto since Eesti Laul to which he had this to say;
We´ve been writing and recording new stuff for the upcoming album. We hope to release our first one in sept-october this year. Come and be friends with us in facebook and we´ll keep you posted about stuff going on! Otherwise we´re just waiting for the sun to finally come out… Would like to sit outside and have a cold beer without freezing to death in eight hours!
Finally we asked Janno how he felt about the band’s second place in Eesti Laul;
We were really surprised for the warm welcome we got from the judges and from people at homes! Flattering! Second place was totally fine with us! Best of luck to Tanja in Copenhagen!
