Eurovision fanatic Ian Mack is currently organising a charity auction for the special care baby unit of the Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Cheshire. Dana, the first ever Irish winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, has put a signed book and a signed CD up for the auction.
Speaking about his reasons for the auction, Ian said:
Friends of mine owe their daughters life to the special care baby unit so when this opportunity arose to raise some money for it I thought who better than my Eurovision family to help me. This is a unique chance to own two signed pieces of Eurovision memorabilia from one of the contest’s most iconic winners.
You can bid on the items by sending Ian a message via Facebook, with the amount of your bid. You can find him by clicking here. Any bid is welcome! The deadline for sending in your bids is Monday, 12 May, 22.00 GMT.
If you want to be the owner of Dana’s book and CD, both signed items, don’t hesitate to put in a bid, especially for the special baby care unit of the Leighton Hospital!
