Songs For Europe 2 competition winner revealed

After a week long competition to find a lucky person to win a copy of British Eurovision historian and journalist Gordon Roxburgh’s second book, ‘Songs For Europe 2: The 1970’s’ we finally have a winner.
The lucky winner of the signed copy is:
Basil Marteau-Canal from France
The answer to the question ‘Which band that represented the United Kingdom in the 1970′s was originally Cliff Richard’s backing band?’ was of course 1975 participants ‘The Shadows’, and I am delighted to report all participants got the answer correct.
Congratulations Basil, your copy should be on the way very shortly! To all those who took part in this competition we send you all a huge thanks, and remember you are still able to buy the book for £16.99 here and the first volume is still available here.
