Less than a week from today, on Friday 8 August, Eurofest returns to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. After hosting 2014 Eurovision winner last time, Eurofest is rising like a phoenix to welcome fan favourite and schlager queen, Linda Bengtzing.
Linda has taken part in Melodifestivalen five times, reaching the final in all but one of her tries, and she has also achieved a number of top 10 hits in Sweden. Now her UK fans can finally enjoy her singing live. Her songs include Alla Flickor and Jag Ljunger Så Bra, which are sure dance floor fillers.
The rest of the evening will be in charge of DJs Don Grant, John Hagley and one of the UK’s favourite Eurovision DJs, Dave Simmons. They combine 25 years of experience in mixing all sorts of Europop, including, of course, a great deal of Eurovision hits and playing this year in Copenhagen.
This promises to be a good six hours of dancing and singing to the greatest hits of Europop. Doors open at 9 pm. Tickets are sold at the door only, and are £5 before 10:30 pm and £8 after.
