Last weekend in the mountain resort city of Bukovel the Ukrainian national final for the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held. With a field of 18 singers the the winners were declared to be the trio Sympho-Nick.
The trio consists of 11 year olds Amalia Krimska and Sofia Kucenko and 12 year old Marta Rak.
According to the head of the jury, Sympho-Nick received equal points from both the televote and the jury vote, it however does not state whether these were the top votes or not.
As a result, the girls will sing their song “Pryyde vesna” (“Spring will come”) at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta.
