Eurovision moves to France 2

After 15 years of broadcast on France 3, the Eurovision Song Contest will move to France 2 from 2015. Despite good viewing figures on France 3 since it began broadcasting the competition in 1999, the show will move channels for the 60 anniversary.
Channel changes in France are no unusual thing, with France 2 having shown the competition between 1983 and 1998. Both RTF and TF1 have also previously shown Eurovision. Local media is already speculating on the commentator, with Stéphane Bern, Tex, Michel Drucker, Laurent Ruquier, Olivier Minne, Thierry Beccaro and Patrick Sabatier all alleged to be in the running.
Last year France 3 returned to having a national selection show, for the first time since 2007. However, with Twin Twin finishing last in Copenhagen, could this change be a sign of a different approach in 2015? Only time will tell.
