The UK representative in 2013, music legend Bonnie Tyler, will be performing this coming weekend (12 September) in the Spanish town of Móstoles. As part of the town’s patron saint celebrations, Bonnie will be looking back to her more than 40 years in the music industry to bring her greatest hits to her fans as part of the lineup of the festivities. The entrance is free, and she is expected to be on stage around midnight.
Bonnie first jumped to fame with the release of her 1977 album “The World Starts Tonight” and became an international superstar with the release of “It’s A Heartache” the secnod single of the album “Natural Force”, which reached number 1 chart position in several countries and also opened the door to the US market for Tyler. Amongst her most iconic and well known songs are “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” and “Holding Back For A Hero”. She was selected internally to represent the UK in Malmö 2013 with “Believe In Me”, which finished in the 19th position in the final.
