After a brief hiatus, we return to our weekly articles showcasing the latest releases from Eurovision artists. As there’s so much to catch up on, we’ll be posting two of these over the course of the weekend.
As always, you can listen to the songs below and vote for your favourite at the bottom of the post.
The Common Linnets – Give Me A Reason After their remarkable success at this year’s contest with ‘Calm After The Storm’, The Common Linnets have, in a new line-up, returned with Give Me A Reason: the new lead vocalists are JB Meijers and Jake Etheridge, who accompany Ilse DeLange. As with their Eurovision hit, this flows beautifully and their voices blend magnificently.
Emmelie de Forest – Drunk Tonight
She brought the Eurovision Song Contest back to Denmark and is now releasing a brand new single taken from her upcoming second album. ‘Drunk Tonight’ is a mainstream ballad which sounds very different to the tracks on her first album. Let us know what you think in the comments!
Axel Hirsoux – Bellissimo
Axel didn’t too well in Eurovision this year, failing to qualify to the final with only 28 points. He’s not let that get him down though and is back with a new s̶i̶n̶g̶l̶e̶ cover of “Anche se fuori è inverno“ by Italy’s Deborah Iurato. The song will feature on Axel’s new album which is scheduled for release next month.
Paula Seling feat. Tuan – SOLO
Paula Seling has ditched Ovi and teamed up with fellow Romanian rapper Tuan for her new single “Solo”. The song is sweet and cheerful and includes another high note from Paula. You could argue though that the song would sound even better without Tuan’s rapping included. Let us know what you think!
Kati Wolf – Nyár van!
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Kati and we were chuffed once we found out she was back with new music. Nyár van! is a delightful song to mark the end of the summer months, with the music video featuring gorgeous landscapes and several shots of Kati enjoying the sunshine.

Waylon – Love Drunk
After leaving The Common Linnets, we knew Waylon was preparing his new solo single. ‘Love Drunk’ is the first single taken from his third studio album released earlier this week, the song fuses a combination of both country and pop and will no doubt get a few feet tapping with its catchy chorus.
