Sammarinese broadcaster SMRTV has confirmed participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The microstate will make its second appearance in the contest, after debuting last year.
The General Director of SMRTV personally signed the necessary forms. San Marino will reveal its act at the end of the month. Last year, the country was represented by Michele Perniola, who came tenth in Kiev with his O-o-O Sole Intorno A Me.
San Marino is the fifteenth country to confirm for Malta. That’s an increase of at least three countries over 2012 and 2013, a step in the right direction for the contest.
