Cyprus JESC entry premiered

Earlier today, the song with which Cyprus will make its Junior Eurovision comeback was revealed. ‘I Pio Omorfi Mera’ translates as ‘The Most Beautiful Day’ and will be performed by 13 year-old Sophia Patsalides at the contest in Malta.
Sophia hails from the Cypriot capital, Nicosia and it was announced in July that she would be representing her country at Junior Eurovision after its five year absence from the contest. It was also announced that her song would be written together with Stavros Stavrou and Eurovision veteran Alex Panayi, who represented Cyprus in 1995 and 2000.
‘I Pio Omorfi Mera’ is an uptempo dance-pop song sung mainly in Greek, but with portions in English later on in the song. The music video, starring legions of JESC fans, premiered earlier today.
