Several Eurovision stars have once again been nominated for the MTV Europe Music Award in their regional categories, and the battle for the Best European Act this year.
Who See, the Montenegrin representatives at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest have been nominated for the Best Adria Act – which they’ve already won in 2012. Sinplus, the Swiss representatives in 2012 have been nominated for the “Best Swiss Act”. Elena Gheorghe, the Romanian representative in 2009, has been nominated for the “Best Romanian Act”, as well as Serebro, for Best Russian Act.
Last year, Marco Mengoni and Lena were nominated for Best European Act, with Mengoni receiving a nomination for the “Best World Act” award, following their win in the regional nominations. MTV EMA will be held on Sunday, 9 November in Glasgow, Scotland.
