No return planned in 2015

Croatia will not be present in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, that was the news reported today despite confirmation that the country will return to the Junior edition in Malta this year.
It had been thought that a return to Junior Eurovision would somewhat go hand in hand with a return to the main contest, and with rumours of Croatia’s return to the former starting at the beginning of the week it had seemed safe to presume an announcement regarding participation in Vienna was imminent.
Croatia last took part in the contest in 2013, citing financial difficulties as the reason for their withdrawal from Copenhagen. It now seems apparent that such difficulties have not been settled as it is no secret that participation in Junior Eurovision is much cheaper to organise.

Eurovision has entrenched itself in my life for as long as I can remember. I tweet a lot about Emma Muscat, Portugal and the fact that I'm from the country with the (joint) most ESC wins (ole, ole, ole). I have a tendency to get locked in a bathroom against my will.
