Hungarian broadcaster MTV have opened submission for A Dal 2015 which will again be used to select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
The format of A Dal appears unchanged for 2015 continuing on with multiple semi-finals and a final decided by a combination of televote and jury.
Artists who wish to submit a song must be either a Hungarian citizen or speak fluent Hungarian. Songs submitted are preferred to also be in Hungarian but will be accepted in English or in the language of any of Hungary’s recognised minority groups.
An expert jury will determine which entries are to make it to the live shows, the dates of which are yet to be announced. More information can be found here.
After two top 10 results and three final qualifications Hungary seems content to use their national final as a platform for new artists.
