The group of nuns will end the run-through

Less than 24 hours after the semi-finalists of the Maltese selection were revealed, PBS held a meeting with the artists in which a draw determined who will open and close the run through of the show scheduled for 21st November.
Newcomer Lyndsay Pace will open this edition’s semi-final show while the most striking act i.e. the group of nuns, under the name of Ekklesia will close the run through. The group can make history and be the first ever group of nuns to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest.
In a short interview on the national television station the lead singer of the group of nuns, Sr Michaela stated that the group is delighted to make it through the early stages of the Maltese selection and are looking forward to perform on the greatest stage which is being prepared for the forthcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The Junior contest will take place one week earlier than the Maltese national final. Sr Michaela said that the group will pass on a positive message to the world and would like to share happiness with everyone.
14 acts will qualify from the semi-final show and will compete once again for the ticket to Vienna. Stay tuned on escXtra and follow the Maltese selection towards the next Eurovision Song Contest.
