After much doubt and consideration, San Marino has confirmed its participation in Vienna. The microstate revealed its participation during the annual Sammarinese TV convention.
The broadcaster has also said that they will reveal their artist for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in the upcoming weeks. The doubt over participation were raised after this year’s success with Valentina Monetta’s place in the final. The broadcaster didn’t want to exclude any of the options until yesterday.
Valentina Monetta represented the country three times in a row, from 2012 to 2014. On her last (or latest…) attempt, her song Maybe qualified for the grand final. Her previous two attempts, The Social Network Song and Crisalide (Vola) didn’t make it through the semifinal.
