Conchita Wurst was in the UK once again earlier this week, where she was presented with an award for ‘Greatest Moment of the Year’ at Attitude magazine’s award ceremony at London’s Banquetting Hall.
The award was of course presented for her victory at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. Upon receiving the award, Conchita told BBC News that she is still not used to winning:
This is a very new situation for me, so I embrace it and I really love every day, but I still can’t believe it!
Conchita wasn’t the only one starstruck by the occasion. She was presented with her award by celebrity chef Nigella Lawson, so said Conchita was “so beautiful,” adding:
I can’t believe I got to share a stage with Conchita. I am a huge fan.
While the Austrian Eurovision winner is busy recording her debut album, the Attitude Awards are just the latest in a number of high profile appearances for Conchita, who last week addressed and performed for the European parliament.
