Diamonds by Federica Falzon is premiered

Malta’s Junior Eurovision hopeful Federica Falzon sang for the first time in public her entry Diamonds. The Maltese entry was premiered at Federica’s school i.e. St Benedict’s College in Ħal Kirkop.
The song uses diamonds as a metaphor to suggest that no dream is out of reach as long as one believes in one’s own dreams. The song title was revealed last month and it was described by the national broadcaster as a James Bond style song with a lot of emotion.

Diamonds is penned by the same writing team behind Gaia Cauchi’s winning JESC 2013 entry i.e. Gillian Attard, Matthew Mercieca (Muxu) and Elton Zarb. Earlier this year the young mezzo-soprano Federica won the Italian junior singing contest Ti Lascio una Canzone.
Federica Falzon will represent Malta on home soil when the Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place at The Malta Shipbuilding Hall on 15th November.
