Well known television presenter and media personality, Arbana Osmani, has been announced as the presenter of the fifty-third annual Festivali i Këngës. Osmani is best known for presenting big shows like Big Brother and Top Fest.
Media in Albania report that Festivali i Këngës is set to be held on 26, 27 and 28 December, though RTSH has still not confirmed anything. Despite the fact that Albania has still not officially confirmed it’s participation for Vienna, preparations for FiK have already started.
Venera Lumani, who came fourth last year, together with Lindi confirmed to Radio Tirana that she has submitted a song to the contest. escXtra.com also contacted Ronela Hajati, who denied the rumors of participating and Devis Xherahu who has also submitted a song. The winner of “The Voice of Italy”, Elhaida Dani also denied rumors of participation to escXtra, but didn’t confirm if she submitted an entry.
