RTCG (Montenegrin broadcaster) announced that on Friday 31st October the national television station will reveal the internally selected artist to represent the Balkan country in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
This means that Montenegro will be the first country to announce its artist for Vienna. In the last edition, the country managed to qualify for the first time with the song Moj svijet, sang by Sergej Ćetković.
Since it’s independence, the country debuted in 2007 and continued to take part in Europe’s favourite show for three consecutive editions. Montenegro withdrew from the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest but returned in 2012.
RTCG will be making a third consecutive internal selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The song that the artist selected will perform in Vienna is expected to be released at a later date.
