Last year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest winner, Gaia Cauchi released the official song for this year’s contest. The song entitled #Together is penned by Elton Zarb, Gordon Bonello and Matthew Mercieca (Muxu). #Together happens to be the theme of this year’s junior contest.
The official launch took place at noon at the school which Gaia attends i.e. St. Francis School in Sliema.The participants from sixteen different nations will sing parts of the song during the contest to take place on 15th November at the Malta Shipbuilding hall.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted for the very first time by Malta. The national broadcaster received acclamation for the preparations ahead of the biggest ever show to be hosted by the island.
