PBS has just revealed that this year’s Eurovision Song Contest winner, Conchita Wurst will be the special guest in the 2014-2015 Malta Eurovision Song Contest. During the popular show Xarabank, it was announced that Conchita will open the national selection.
Malta is about to start experiencing two weeks of Eurovision fever as next week the Mediterranean island will host the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and a week after it will hold the national final for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. The Maltese selection will consist of two shows i.e. a semi-final contested by 20 acts and 14 of them will qualify to the final on Saturday 22nd November.
It will be the first time that Conchita will appear in a national selection for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest which will take place in Vienna on 19th, 21st and 23rd May 2015.
