After a couple of years of internally selecting their entry, Georgia has opted to hold a national final to find their representative for Vienna. The show will take place in Tiblisi on 14 January, and the deadline to submit entries has been set for 20 December.
Artists hoping to be the Georgian representative can send their materials along with their CV and a photo to GPB (address: #68 Kostava Street; Tel: 2 409 110). The winner will be selected by a mix of televote and international jury vote.
The last Georgian representative to be selected through a national final was Ari Jokhadze, which would become the first Georgian act not to qualify to a final. Last year, however, they Mariko and The Shin, selected internally, suffered the same fate.
