The first out of the seven auditions of the Eurovision Song Project was broadcast yesterday on CyBC. During the very first show of the selection, the acts performed a cover of their favorite Eurovision Song Contest entry of the past years as well as a part of their national selection song.
In this audition, nine acts competed. In order to get through the next phase, the Eurochallenge, the artists had to get at least three “yes” from the jury. The jury consisted of Despina Olympiou (2013), Alex Panayi (1995 & 2000), Elena Patroklou (1991) and Tasos Tryfonos. Below, the artists and their song titles are listed in order of appearance. Qualifiers are marked in bold.

The next audition of the Eurovision Song Project will be broadcast on December 14, 2014.
