The 2014 winner of The Voice of Holland is girl group O’G3NE. To Eurovision fans, they may be better known under their first names Lisa, Amy and Shelley: the three sisters participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007.
Lisa, Amy and Shelley Vol changed their stage name to O’G3NE just before auditioning on The Voice of Holland. During their audition, they sang Emotion and managed to get all coaches to turn around in a matter of seconds. They then chose veteran Marco Borsato as their coach, over Dutch Eurovision stars Ilse DeLange and Trijntje Oosterhuis.
During the Battle rounds live shows, O’G3NE managed to keep their favourite role by singing songs as I See Fire, Mirrors, Story of my Life, Buttons, Change Will Come and Hold On. They then ended up in the final, where they had to take on three other acts. After being in a surprising second place for most of the show, the girls eventually won the competition by beating fellow Borsato team member Sjors van der Panne with 53,7% of the votes.
Lisa, Amy and Shelley participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with their song Adem In, Adem Uit. They just missed out on the top ten, finishing eleventh with just 39 points.
