Tonight, 13 këngës will be whittled down to 9, as Albania presents the first of two semifinals at the 53rd edition of the year-end festival. Semifinals take place tonight and tomorrow night at Pallati i Kongreseve in Tiranë, with an expected show time of 20:35cet.
The final takes place on Sunday night, with 18 surviving songs battling it out to take the Festivali i Këngës title and Albania’s ticket to Vienna. Our hosts tonight are Turjan Hyska, Liberta Spahiu and Floriana Garo. Also crucial to the festival are, as ever, the RTSH Orchestra.
