Nina Sublatti will represent Georgia in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest to take place in Vienna. Nina won the right to represent the Caucasian country with the song Warrior.
It might be the first time in the history of Eurovision that two contestants in the same contest will perform the same song title. This is because Malta’s entry selected last November carries the same song title.
Following a 30 minute television show held during a local programme called Communicator, Nina Sublatti won the ticket to Vienna and thus will be the ninth Eurovision hopeful for Georgia.
A panel of foreign judges and the public, voted in this national final contested by five artists. Nina will succeed The Shin & Mariko who brought Georgia’s worst ever result in Eurovision. Last year, Georgia failed to qualify to the final, after ending last in the second semi-final.
