Anouk will become the new coach on The Voice of Holland. The 2013 Eurovision singer will join the show for its sixth season.
Anouk will replace her good friend and 2015 Eurovision entrant Trijntje Oosterhuis. Oosterhuis quits the show because she is too busy with new projects, one of which is the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
Ilse DeLange, part of The Common Linnets, has also decided to quit the show because she is too busy with The Common Linnets. She will be replaced by Miss Montreal.
RTL programme director Erland Galjaard said, when speaking about Anouk and Miss Montreal as the new coaches:
We are really happy that with Anouk and Miss Montreal we not only welcome two brilliant new coaches, but also two very professional women who are an example for many musicians and singers.
The other two coaches, Marco Borsato and Ali B, will also be there on the next season. The latest season of The Voice of Holland ended about a month ago, with former Junior Eurovision entrants O’G3NE taking the trophy home.
