Icelandic broadcast RÚV has released the 12 songs vying to represent the country at Eurovision 2015. Anyone can now listen to the Söngvakeppninni entries in full on the official website here.
Singers recognisable to Eurovision fans include frequent competitor and backing singer Erna Hrönn Ólafsdóttir, and Regína Ósk who not only has competed before as a soloist, but also made it to Eurovision as one half of Euroband in 2008.
The Icelandic national selection takes place in the form of two semi-finals on 31st January and 7th February, with the final decision on Iceland’s Eurovision entry to be made on Saturday 14th February. As ever, we’ll be providing coverage here on the website as well as our Twitter, @escXtra. Be sure to let us know what you think of the competing songs!
