Today is the day that the delegations find out when they have to arrive in Austria and we find out which semifinal countries will perform in. Yes, preparations reach a whole new level today as the Eurovision train speeds towards Vienna.
As revealed yesterday, all 33 nations who will perform in a semifinal have been allocated a pot. This is to separate similar countries in the best possible way in order to make sure the draw is as fair as possible.
Automatic finalists are also involved in today’s draw to decide which Semifinal they will broadcast and vote in. Germany’s broadcaster ARD have had their request granted to air live and vote in Semifinal 2.
