According to Greek portal star.gr, the entrants in the Greek selection will be revealed next week. The report state that NERIT (Greek broadcaster) will announce the five acts that will compete in the national final.
Greece’s participation in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest became possible after the country’s new broadcaster NERIT was recently accepted as an EBU member.
The Greek media is speculating about the possible names in the selection. Various reports state that newcomers and well known artists will feature in the line-up. The national final is planned to take place in the beginning of March.
Greece is one of four countries competing this year that has a 100% qualification record to the final. The country will compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 19th May.
