Polish national broadcaster TVP will reveal the internal selected artist for Vienna on 9th March. In a statement, the television station announced the date when the decision upon who is the Polish Eurovision hopeful will be communicated.
The country is opting for another internal selection following last year’s act by Donatan & Cleo, which attracted intensive coverage. Another big star in Poland, Doda is the highly tipped artist to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. The local press reported Doda claiming that TVP approached her to represent Poland in Vienna.
Last year, Poland returned to the contest after an absence of three years. Donatan & Cleo managed to qualify to the final after the failure in doing so from three consecutive past Eurovision hopefuls in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Poland will participate in the second semi-final on 21st May.
