🇦🇹 WURST releases new single ‘Lovemachine’

WURST, formerly known as Conchita Wurst, has released his new single ‘Lovemachine’, a cover of a 1970s Austrian disco hit by Supermax. He also features singer Lou Asril on the track.

Released in 1977, ‘Lovemachine’ by Supermax is a seven minute long disco epic. It has been reinvented for the modern day by the collaboration of WURST and singer Lou Asril. Now just over three minutes, WURST’s ‘Lovemachine’ has modern electronic influences and a great melding of the two singers’ different voices.

Tom Neuwirth is the artist behind Conchita Wurst, the winning artist for Austria in Eurovision 2014 with ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’. He is now branding himself as WURST. While the Conchita name is still on his credits, he has retired the iconic bearded woman character for the time being.
