Rotterdam 2021🇸🇮 Slovenia

🇸🇮 Ana Soklič will sing Amen in Rotterdam!

Can I get an Amen up in here?!

In December, it was announced that EMA 2021 would go ahead, albeit as a selection purely for Ana Soklič’s entry for Rotterdam. However, due to the pandemic, the show was purely a song presentation show.

Tonight (27th February) the show took place and it was subsequently announced that Ana will sing “Amen” for Slovenia at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

You can hear the song below.

About “Amen”

The music for “Amen” was written by Ana Soklič, Žiga Pirnat and Bojan Simončič, and in addition to Ana Soklič and Žiga Pirnat (who is also responsible for the arrangement), Charlie Mason, the American author of several hits, co-wrote the lyrics. Mason has collaborated with many of the world’s music stars, including Miley Cyrus. He is also the author of the 2014 Eurovision winning song “Rise Like a Phoenix” performed by Conchita Wurst.

Ana was supposed to sing “Voda” last year in Rotterdam, but unfortunately as previously stated, the coronavirus pandemic put a sad stop to that. Fortunately RTVSLO gave Ana the ticket to this year’s contest.

You can relive “Voda” below.
