Junior Eurovision: Sofia Fisenko wins the Russian ticket to Valletta

The Russian national final took place in Crimea last night and the 14-year-old singer Sofia Fisenko was crowned the winner and will wave the Russian flag in Malta.
The votes from the professional jury – including among others the famous composer Igor Krutoy, the Russian show business star Philipp Kirkorov and the singer Irina Dubcova – combined with the internet voting left Sofia with the maximum amount of points: 36.
Three years ago, the young artist tried without success to represent her country at the Junior Eurovision, but this year she has managed to grab the trophy.
“When I came on stage and saw how many people were supporting me, I cried with happiness. I am very happy and pleased to have won “- said Sofia Fisenko on TV.
Her song ‘Zhivaya Voda’ (‘Living Water’) will represent Russia at the 14th Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and you can listen to it below. What are your thoughts on the song?

I am a politics student and geopolitics lover who lives and breathes Eurovision every single day of the year. I also love blasting schlager on my headphones while wearing an unamused face.
