The Polish national broadcaster, TVP, confirmed they will be returning to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest after 12 years since their last appearance in the show. Poland debuted in the contest back in 2003 and withdrew after scoring only 6 points in their two years in the contest.
TVP will pick their song for Valletta in ‘Krajowe Eliminacje do Konkursu Eurowizja Junior’, the final of their selection process, on October 15th. The winner will be decided by the vote of the jury and the TV viewers.
Artists aged between 9-14 who want to represent their country, and comply with the requirements must send their submissions to the following address until September 20th.

Poland is the 14th country to confirm their participation in Malta after the national broadcaster of Montenegro announced they will not be competing in the upcoming Junior Eurovision, joining San Marino and Slovenia. You can also check what we know so far from the other countries here.
Poland’s last Junior Eurovision entry was the young girl band KWADro with the song “Łap życie”, which ended up in the last place.
