The Spanish broadcaster RTVE has confirmed that they will participate in Kyiv next year. Spain’s head of delegation, Federico Llano, and RTVE’s content director, Ana Mª Bordas, travelled to Berlin to hand over the necessary files to the Executive Supervisor of the EBU, Jon Ola Sand.
After this year’s results, the Spanish head of delegation was critical of the voting system which he considered unfair. At the moment RTVE has not given any information on how their representative will be chosen and if there will be any changes in their selection procedures.
So far a total of 28 countries have confirmed their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Last year, Spain finished 22nd in Stockholm with Barei and her song ‘Say Yay!’. Who should represent the country next year?
