Australian Junior Eurovision Entry Revealed!

What an exciting morning it is shaping up to be!
Here we have it! The Australian entry for the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest!
Alexa Curtis is undoubtedly going to be uplifting  people across the world with her song “We Are.” It’s inspirational pop at it’s best and following in a strong line with Bella Paige’s “My Girls.”
What I think I like most about Australia and their participation in JESC is that the songs we have so far sent have been extremely age appropriate. Inspirationally so! Not focusing on love or heart break, but instead important things in life like friendship and self belief. I have no doubt the live performance will be much like Dami Im’s, blowing us away and surprising us all. The official recording sounds a little held back, but as we all know it’s about the performance on the night and I have full confidence there will be surprises in store with Alexa. Lets just hope I can hold it together a bit better than I did with Dami!
Being co-written by Ali Tamposi and Tania Doko, it is no wonder the song has such a strong presence! A pair that have some incredibly noteworthy credits under their belt. Tamposi co-writing Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” which was nominated for a Grammy and Doko having worked with Eurovision royalty Mans Zelmerlow and Australian entertainment royalty Tina Arena.
If nothing else, what pleases me most is that in all aspects of the competition whether it be Junior or the less junior version of Eurovision – Australia takes it seriously and is a force to be reckoned with.
Who is coming to take over Europe? We are.
