LRT, the Lithuanian broadcaster have announced details regarding their national selection process for Eurovision 2017.
Artists wishing to represent Lithuania at Eurovision have until the 1st of December to submit their entries. Submissions themselves can be sent to [email protected]. The finalists will be announced soon after the deadline in December after which the heats will take place.
The schedule for the selection will be as follows:
7th January 2017 – Heat 1
14th January 2017 – Heat 2
21st January 2017 – Heat 3
28th January 2017 – Heat 4
4th February 2017 – Heat 5
11th February 2017 -Heat 6
18th February 2017 – Heat 7
25th February 2017- Final
So the final, in which the representative for Lithuania will be decided will take place on the 25th of February 2017. Along with that a fundraising concert will be held on the 11th of March 2017 to help with costs for the Lithuanian delegation as has been the case in recent years for the country.
