Junior Eurovision: Olivia Wieczorek to sing for Poland

‘Krajowe Eliminacje do Konkursu Eurowizja Junior’, the Polish selection for the Junior Eurovision 2016, was held by TVP this afternoon and representing the country in Valletta will be Olivia Wieczorek with the song ‘Nie Zapomnij’.

The votes from the professional jury –composed of Anna Wyszkoni, Marcin Kusya and this year’s Polish fan favourite Margaret– combined with the televote gave the victory to the young Olivia.

The running order was as it follows:

  • WAMWAY – Zróbmy hałas
  • Ania Dąbrowska – Fryzurka
  • Dominika Ptak – Kropla
  • Julia Chmielarska – Na skrzydłach dni
  • ASMki – Do końca świata
  • Ula Dorosz – Życie to nie gra
  • Amelia Andryszczyk – Marzenia
  • Arfik – Tango dla Kotów
  • Olivia Wieczorek – Nie Zapomnij

The show featured a performance of last year’s winner Destiny Chukunyere, who performed her winning song ‘Not My Soul’ and Dami Im’s ‘Sound Of Silence’.

I am a politics student and geopolitics lover who lives and breathes Eurovision every single day of the year. I also love blasting schlager on my headphones while wearing an unamused face.
