Over three months ago, Armenia began their search to find their 2017 Eurovision entrant through their ambitious new show โDepi Evratesilโ. Tonight the final concluded and Armenia chose Artsvik as their representative for this year’s contest in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The two remaining contestants sang to impress the jury, which included Armenian musicians within the diaspora and the Armenian public. Marta sang Rihannaโs โPlease donโt stop the musicโ and โOnly Girlโ, whilst Artsvik sang Whitney Houstonโs โI have nothingโ.
Guest Performances:
Guest performances included Cyprusโ Eurovision 2017 entrant Hovig, who sang his 2015 national selection song โStone in a riverโ. He also sang a song in Armenian, which really impressed the audience in the studio.
Iveta Mukuchyan, last year’s Armenian representative, also appeared as a guest performer. Iveta performed her 2016 entry โLoveWaveโ, as well as her latest single โAmenaโ.
