The next Spanish representative in Eurovision will be chosen in February, at the final of ‘Objetivo Eurovisión’ where several artists known by the Spanish audience will compete to get their passport for Kyiv.
However, there is still a free spot in the final waiting to be filled by one of the finalists of the so-called ‘Eurocasting’, which was created in order to give singers without a huge record label behind the chance to compete in the race for Eurovision.
After two months of competition, about 400 songs received, half a million votes casted and the voting of a professional jury, Leklein, Fruela and Javián have made it to the final of ‘Eurocasting’, which will be broadcast tomorrow, January 12th, at 20:00 CET on RTVE’s Eurovision website and on TV with the Red Button option if you have a connected TV.
During the broadcast, the candidates will perform their entries with a live audience. Once the performances end, there will be a 15-minute voting period in which the audience, and only the audience, will vote for their favourite candidate. The winner will join the internally selected artists of the final of ‘Objetivo Eurovisión’, which will also be announced during tomorrow’s final.
