A slight change to the jury line-up

The jury of the national final will consist of the same people as last year with only one exception: Konstantin Meladze, a famous Russian and Ukrainian composer and producer, Andriy Danylko (Verka Serduchka) and Jamala (instead of Ruslana), the winner of Eurovision 2016.
Konstantin Meladze states that the level of the 2016 national selection was really high, and that this year will not go down in quality. He also says that some of this year’s participants are way better than last year’s! Besides, some of them are already famous artists, while others are just taking their first steps on the big stage.
I personally think that after all the bad things that happened to Ukraine during the last few years, it’s a great opportunity for this country to host Eurovision and to show the whole world that it can do so to a great standard.

Just a friendly reminder…

43 countries are participating in Eurovision this year. The semi-finals of Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will take place in Kiev on 9th and 11th of May. The Grand Final will take place on May 13th.
