Live: Europe starts voting now – Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2017, semifinal 1

Melodifestivalen 2017 is upon us. All eyes are upon Göteborg for this first show of the six week touring extravaganza. Join us for our dedicated live blog, if you can’t make it to a TV, a laptop or even a tablet to watch the show! We can’t promise confetti but we can guarantee high energy performances with some quality vocals… and watch out for the car! Yes, really, there will be a car on stage tonight.
Tonight, the first seven artists will perform their entries. Competing for a place in the 12 song Final in just five weeks time, two will proceed direct to the Final at Friends Arena, two will go to Andra chansen in Linköping and the remaining three will be eliminated.

Melodifestivalen 2017, semifinal 1 – Göteborg

Tonight’s competing artists and their songs, in running order, are:

1. Boris René – “Her Kiss”, written by Tim Larsson and Tobias Lundgren.
2. Adrijana – “Amare”, written by Martin Tjärnberg and Adrijana Krasniqi.
3. Dinah Nah – “One More Night”, written by Thomas G:son, Jimmy Jansson, Dinah Nah and dr. alban.
4. De Vet Du – “Road Trip”, written by Johan Gunterberg and Christopher Martland.
5. Charlotte Perrelli – “Mitt liv”, written by Charlotte Perrelli and Lars Hägglund.
6. Ace Wilder – “Wild Child”, written by Peter Boström, Thomas G:son and Ace Wilder.
7. Nano – “Hold On”, written by Nano Omar, Gino Yonan, Ayak, Carl Rydén,
   Christoffer Belaieff, Rikard de Bruin and David Francis Jackson.
