Portugal mark their return to the Eurovision Song Contest with the first semi final of Festival da Canção which kicks off at 22:15 CET tonight. The ten artists/songs competing are:
01. Márcia – Agora
02. Golden Slumbers – Para perto
03. Fernando Daniel – Poema a dois
04. Deolinda Kinzimba – O que eu vi nos meus sonhos
05. Rui Drumond – O teu melhor
06. Lisa Garden – Without You
07. Salvador Sobral – Amar pelos dois
08. Viva La Diva – Nova glória
Four qualifiers will be determined by the televote and the votes of an expert jury appointed by RTP.

Portugal pulled out from the 2016 contest citing financial difficulties. They were last represented by Leonor Andrade with the song ‘Há um mar que nos separa’, which unfortunately did not pass to the final.
